DROST, Lois Age 89. Died peacefully surrounded by her family on December 4, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Henry. Loving mother to Michael (deceased), Catherine (Phil) Huber, Chris and Patrick (Marsha). Beloved grandmother to Aaron, Misty Maironi and Joshua. Great grandmother to Justin Maironi. Sister of Margaret Snyder. Lois served as a member of the WAVES (Women Accpted for Voluntary Emergency Service) during World War II. Lois was a homemaker. She was an avid reader who loved poetry, gardening and sewing. Memorial Gathering 10 am, Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave., Dearborn. Memorial Service at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Heart Association. Interment will be at St. Hedwig Cemetery at a later date.
