Lorraine Charlotte (Komosa) Booms of Taylor, Michigan, age 78, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2020 at her home after suffering complications of the Covid-19 virus. She was uplifted in countless prayers by her family, friends, and parish members at St Constance Church, St Valentine Church, the Felician Sisters and may prayer circles.

Predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, Michael, in October 2019.

Loving mother of Keith (Carole).

Oldest daughter of the late Anthony and Charlotte Komosa.

Dear sister of Phyllis (Dan) Hendren, Jeanette (Richard) Stomber, Cindy (Steve) Hall.

Sister-in-law of the late Patricia Gagne, Gregory Booms and Sharon(Pasquale) Cece.

Aunt of Mark (Lisa) Hendren, Jeff(Kimberly)Stomber, Matthew (Sarah) Hendren, Kevin (Joyce) Cece, Lisa Cece, Tina (Kurt) Bettsteller, Erin (Bruce) Cohen.

Great Aunt to many cherished nieces and nephews.

Lorraine grew up on Detroit's westside, graduated from Cody High School, and attended Saints Peter and Paul Church. She and Mike married in 1965 and raised their son, Keith, enjoying family gatherings, travel and boating on the Detroit River. She spent the majority of her career at First Federal (now Citizens Bank) and retired after more than 20 years as a mortgage underwriter. Lorraine always shared a welcoming smile, she made holidays special with cheerful decorations and by giving flowers to her family and friends. She was an avid reader, loved to watch old movies and TV shows, believed strongly in her faith and supporting her church, many charities and had a dedicated love of animals, especially dogs.

A memorial Mass and grave-side service will be celebrated in the future in compliance with the health order from the State of Michigan. Immediate burial will take place at Our Lady of Hope in Brownstown, Michigan.
