In Loving Memory of Louis F. McHugh III
December 24th, 1942– February 5th, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Louis F. McHugh III, a devoted Father, Grandfather, and proud United States Army Veteran. He left this world on February 5th, 2025 at the age of 82, surrounded by family.
Born on December 24th, 1942; Louis lived a life of courage, and adventure. He proudly and bravely served his country during the Vietnam war as a member of the United States Army. His service and sacrifice were a testament to his strength and dedication to protecting the freedoms we hold dear. Louis' military career spanned over two decades with numerous commendations including a Purple Heart.
Beyond his time in the military, Louis was a man who embraced life to the fullest. He was a loving Father and Grandfather who cherished his family above all else. Whether offering words of wisdom, sharing laughter around the dinner table, or simply being present in the lives of those he cared about, he was the heart and soul of his family.
Louis had a passion for the open road and found solace in the rumble of a motorcycle beneath him. Riding was more than a hobby—it was a way of life. Whether cruising down country roads or embarking on long journeys, he found peace and freedom in every mile.
He is preceded in death by his Wife, Kathleen A. McHugh (Hughes) and is survived by his children, Louis IV and Teri (Garret) Francis, Grandchildren John, Liam and Elena, his adopted children and Grandchildren along with extended family members and many dear friends who will cherish his memory forever.
