Louise Geraldine Lawrey of Taylor, Michigan passed away at home peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the age of 90 on February 10th, 2026.

She was preceded in death by husband, James G Lawrey, and siblings, Audrey, Gerald, Louis and Daniel.

She is survived by her loving children, Laura (Johnny) Spry, Donna (Amalio) Salinas, James P Lawrey, Dawn (Jeff) Taylor, and Tammy (Pete) Watson. She was an amazing grandmother to Jason, Stephanie, Jeremy, Alex, Brendon, Ashley and Brianna. She was a proud great grandmother to Galen, Finn, Theodore, Johnny and Jaxson.

Louise retired from Ford Motor Company in Brownstown after 30 years of service. She was a member of UAW Local 600. She loved to spend time with her family. She especially enjoyed the backyard parties. Many trips were made to the casino and the lake house and many hours were spent watching the Hallmark Channel. Mom was an excellent cook. We will miss her chicken paprikash and stuffed cabbage. She was always there to lend a hand and offer support to all. She was a great Mom. We will miss her and love her always.
