Luramie Powers, age 87, of Monroe, Michigan, formerly of Taylor, Michigan.
Peacefully went home to her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 22, 2016.
Luramie was the beloved wife of the late Richard for 56 years.
Loving mother of Bob (Patti) Powers and Charlene (Frank) Ziegler.
Cherished mamaw of Laura (Jesse) Sheldon, Jessica (Joe) Arnett, Adam (Ashley) Powers and Andrea (Jeff) Sheedy.
Dearest great-mamaw to Collin & Melina Sheldon and Gabe & Jake Arnett.
Dear sister of Lorene Vaught of KY, Helen Jones of KY, Beulah (Hulun) Jones of OH and the late Loretta Jasper, George Dalton, Mae Russell, Lizzie Jones and Minnie Thompson.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be Friday, January 29, 2016 at 12:00 noon at the Taylor Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 S. Telegraph, Taylor, Michigan.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00pm - 8:00pm.
Burial will be Friday at Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock, Michigan
