Lynne Ann Bender sadly passed away on December 1, 2022 at the age of 60. Beloved wife of Chris Bender for 33 years. Loving mother of Cory Bender. Cherished grandmother of Lily Bender. Dearest sister of Renee (Dennis) Opalko, and the late Lance Drey. Daughter in law of Rodger and Donna Bender. Sister in law of Kurt and Julie Bender.  Nephews, Bryan and Courtney Opalko and family. Kyle Opalko, Andrew Opalko and niece Brian and Shane Smith and family. Lynne is predeceased by her parents; Robert and Emily Drey.

Lynne had many hobbies and interests including gardening, cooking, and winning big at the casino. She loved hanging out with her friends and go to the cabin up north with her husband Chris. Her favorite thing to do was hangout with her granddaughter Lily and go shopping. Lynne was always helping others in need. She had the greatest laugh, everyone who knew her loved her laugh. She will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 12:00-8:00pm and a Rosary to begin at 7:00pm located at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home Taylor Location 9800 Telegraph Rd. Taylor, MI 48180. Services will be held at Saint Maria Goretti Parish Monday, December 12, instate 11:30am with a Mass at 12:00pm. Entombment will be at St. Hedwig Cemetery.

The family asked that any donations be made to The Humane Society or American Cancer Society.
