Maisie Pierce, age 88, passed away August 13, 2023.

Beloved wife of the late Walter for 70 wonderful years.
Proud mother of Troy (Valerie) Pierce, Cynthia (Rudy) Camarena, Donna Pierce, Denyell Pierce, Amanda Pierce and the late Mary Catherine Hicks.
Caring grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 8.

Maisie was a strong-willed woman who lived a multifaceted life. Led by a penchant for helping others, she served her community as a dedicated LPN for many years. When she wanted to relax, she'd cast out a fishing line from the bank to see what she could catch.

Her true passion was her reigning title as the Garage Sale Queen. Maisie would have the week's papers lined up and open to the pages with the garage sale adverts – carefully calculating her route to find the best bargains. In between garage saling, she'd supplement with trips to second hand stores for her found treasures.

Visitation and prayers will be held Wednesday, August 16 from 11AM-12PM at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph Rd, Taylor MI 48180. Maisie will be laid to rest at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery.
