Obituary

DeFoe, Margaret "Mugsie" (nee Andreski), age 91, died peacefully on May 15. She was the beloved daughter of Lawrence and Gertrude Andreski, both deceased, and the loving wife of A. Daniel DeFoe for 70 years. She grew up in Bay City, Michigan but lived most of her adult life in Berkley, Michigan. She was the devoted mother of Molly Macaulay (Robert) of St. Simon's Island, George and of Rev. Susan DeFoe Dunlap (Rev. Marshall) of Dearborn, Michigan. She was the adoring grandmother of Meggen and Emily Macaulay and of Dr. Daniel, Amalia, Elizabeth and Lawrence Dunlap. She was also the loving great-grandmother of Elizabeth, Margaret and Amelia Macaulay. "Mugsie" was a wonderfully giving and loving person, always seeing the best in life and in people. She will be deeply missed. Funeral Service Friday 11:00 am at the Henry Ford Village Chapel (Ford Rd. & Greenfield), Dearborn. Visitation Friday 10:00 am in the Edison Room at the Village. Interment Roseland Park Friday 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Berkley First United Methodist Church.
