Margaret Logan Tottis of Dearborn, Michigan passed away on January 31st, 2026. Marge was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, James (Jim) Tottis and her son-in-law, William Allen Rogers Jr. She is survived by her two children: Karen Ann Rogers and George James Tottis. She is survived also by her six granddaughters: Virginia Rogers Floyd, Mary Caroline Rogers, Margaret Allison (Rogers) Mosher, Olivia Berjouhi (Tottis) Pernicano, Katherine Kerr Rogers, and Jillian Christina (Tottis) Solomon. She is also survived by her four grandsons-in-law: Andrew Walker Floyd, Paul Matthews Mosher, Joseph Samuel Pernicano, and Jimmy Solomon along with her three great-granddaughters: Vivianna James Pernicano, Molly Matthews Mosher, and Francesca Helen Pernicano.

Marge was born in Irontron, Ohio on January 4th, 1933, the only child of Frank and Virginia Lambe. The family briefly moved to Alabama before settling in Detroit. Marge graduated from Detroit's Mackenzie High School in 1951. She married Glen John McQueen in 1953. The couple had one daughter, Karen, in 1957 before divorcing in 1961.

Marge worked for a year as a single mother, eventually meeting Jim Tottis through a social connection with his brother, Pete. They married in 1962 and moved to Dearborn, where Jim opened a pharmacy. Their son, George, was born in 1964.

The couple enjoyed living in Dearborn for many decades and had a wonderful, close-knit group of friends. Eventually, Jim sold the business and set his mind to traveling the world. For three decades, Marge and Jim traveled extensively and avidly pursued their shared interests in architecture, art history and modern art. They also dedicated themselves to building strong and supportive relationships with each of their granddaughters, rarely missing a holiday, recital, or theatrical production.

After Jim passed away in 2019, Marge continued to live in Dearborn. She passed peacefully on January 31st surrounded by family.

Private services to be held with Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Dearborn, Michigan.
