Maria Elena (Gonzalez) Philpo-Miller, 72, died on April 2, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Jerry Miller. Loving mother to Ann Munoz and grandmother to Shelbi Munoz and Suzanne Munoz-Chavez. Great grandmother to Kairi Chavez. Sister of Michael Philpo, Cynthia Vicary and Michelle Philpo-Denny.

Born in Southwest Detroit on November 18, 1946. Raised in Lincoln Park, MI. She enjoyed working at Goodwill Industries as a vocational technician the most out of her career. She loved helping and teaching people how to do daily tasks & applying for unemployment on their own. Maria loved all animals! She would save, shelter & rehome every stray she came across. Beautiful, caring & quick-witted, she will be greatly missed.
