Marian Jagod of Dearborn, MI passed away at the age of 81 in her home on Sunday, August 23 ^rd . Beloved wife and best friend of Jerome Jagod for nearly 58 years. Loving mother of Katie (Mike Degain), Karrie (Joseph Zambo), Mike (Amanda), and Scott (Jessica). Dearest grandmother (Mimi) of Daniel, Benjamin, Abigail, Matthew, Dominic, Sage, Sofia, Julien, Macie, and Carson. Loving sister of Nancy (Jack Forster) "Mimi", as she became known by all her grand kids and family, leaves behind a huge hole in our hearts and an unfillable void in our family.   Marian spent her entire life serving others.  She worked in many capacities as a nurse since early adulthood, caring for those most in need right up until her final days.  One of the kindest and gentlest women you will ever meet, she put everyone's needs above hers and brought joy to everyone she knew.  She spent her last weekend taking some of her grand kids to a dinosaur exhibit, just one of many, many trips she enjoyed with her family over the years.  As the years rolled on, Mimi stayed young at heart and cherished the time spent with her grand kids, family and dogs.  She was a tireless worker who never complained and always made sure those around her were comfortable and felt loved.  She simply loved everyone, wholeheartedly. We take comfort that you are now in God's arms, but we will miss you terribly.  We love you Mimi.

Visitation will be be Friday 1-8 p.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home.  Interment will be Saturday 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Detroit.  In respect to the executive order issued by the governor, the gathering will be limited to 10 people in our gathering space at one time.  Please be patient if you are requested to wait before greeting the family.  If you will not be in attendance please be sure to sign the guest book and leave an online condolence to comfort the family.
