Marie Emmons of Dearborn passed away on November 22nd 2025, at her home. Marie was born on September 7th 1933, to Flora and Eurrett Compton. Marie worked for 45 years as a secretary.  She lived a very active life. She cherished her family, loved traveling, and even learned how to fly a plane. Her hobbies were making dolls, painting, and making beautiful stained-glass pieces. She is survived by her two children Jacqueline and Blake Clegg. Grand children, Kelly, Matthew, Andrew, John, Paul, and Jonathon. Also, her 5 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation for Marie will be held at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services at 9800 Telegraph Rd., Taylor, Michigan on Friday, November 28th from 11:00am to 1:00pm with a funeral service beginning at 1:00pm. Interment will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marie's name may be made to either the Alzheimer's Research Association or Dementia Society of America .
