Beloved wife of the late Willard. Loving mother of Barbara (William) Davidge, W. Thomas Hill and Shirley Hill (Michael Kelly). Dear grandmother of five and great-grandmother of seven. Funeral Sunday 2pm at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home. Visitation 12-6pm. Burial at Glen Eden Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Grace Hospice Okemos office.

Amid the Great Depression Marie left the family farm and began work at the age of 14. After moving to Detroit she met Bill, the love of her life, and they shared 63 years until his death in 2007. Marie was a very strong and talented woman. She was a gifted quilter, cake decorator, seamstress, calligrapher, long time member of choir, and bookkeeper for her husband's business.

We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to the staff at Grand Haven Living Center in Lansing as well as Grace Hospice. The care they provided was invaluable and immensely appreciated.

While we will miss her dearly, we are happy she is finally at peace.
