Born January 6, 1919 Marjorie Mae Powers, died March 6, 2007, Age 88. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond and her brother, Charles Robert Powers of Bicknell, Indiana. Survived by her son, John Nelligan, and daughter Janice McLaughlin, son-in-law, John McLaughlin, and two grandsons, Thomas and James McLaughlin of Hi-Nella, New Jersey. Mrs. Nelligan was a graduate of Vincennes University. She was a long-time member of Dix United Methodist Church. She also taught school in Bicknell, Indiana and substituted in Lincoln Park Schools. Visitation Thursday 3-8pm at J.L. Peters Funeral Home, 3880 Fort, Lincoln Park 313-928-6500. In state Friday 10-11am, services 11am at Dix United Methodist, 1911 Horger, Lincoln Park, Memorial fund to Dix United Methodist Church in Lincoln Park, Interment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery.
