Mary Ann Theresa (Zele)  Bassett passed away after a short illness on July 28, 2023 at Beaumont Dearborn Hospital.  Mary Ann was 94yrs

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Anna and her husband, Allen H. Bassett (1999)

She is survived by her children:

Kathleen Mills (Daniel) and 2 children, Joshua and John.

Richard Bassett and 3 children, Ava, Kate, & Thomas

Paul Bassett Sr and 2 children, Christine and Paul Bassett Jr ( Shannon)

Patricia Cozby and 2 children, Emma Safford (Justin) and Ian Cozby

1 Great Grandchild:  Bexleigh Marie Safford.

As a professional stay at home Mother, Mary Ann's hobbies throughout the years included sewing, gardening and  crafting, 65 year member of First Presbyterian Church of Dearborn, where she served a Deacon, an Elder, and avid Presbyterian Women member.  Supporter of the Belleville High School Band program for 11 years serving as a board member, member of Garden club at her independent living residence at Oakwood Commons.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday September 16, 2023 @ 10:30am at the First Presbyterian Church of Dearborn, 600 N Brady, Dearborn  Michigan. 48124
