February 22, 1957 – December 18, 2020
Mrs. Mary Louise Broadnax of Taylor, Michigan made her transition on December 18, 2020 at the age of 63.
Mary was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 22, 1957. She attended both Cooley and Henry Ford High School's in Detroit, Michigan.
Mary was married to Leo Broadnax, Sr. on September 28, 1973; they were married for 47 years.
Mary worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant for HCR for 23 years, where she also served as a Union Steward. She enjoyed swimming at Kensington Park with her children and grandchildren, playing video games, and spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite gospel songs are "Bridge Over Troubled Waters" and "Go Tell It On a Mountain". She is also a huge Smokey Robinson fan and one of her favorite songs is "Cruisin". She enjoyed putting a smile on her family and friends' faces. She grew up and attended Lutheran Nazareth Church in Detroit, Michigan and volunteered there. Later along with her children, she often visited Greenfield Peace Lutheran Church.
Mary is survived by her husband, Leo Broadnax, Sr. Children: Maria, Theresa (Richmond) Lester, Christopher (Dayna), daughter-in-law Chandra (Leo Jr), Grandchildren: Jeniece, Jasmyn, Mackenzie, Levi, Jonathan, Marcel, Lindsay, and Lexington. Nieces and Nephews: Roman's Children: Lisa, Roman Jr, Ryan Eichholzer, Broadnax Family, Autry Family, Williams' Family, and other family and friends.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents: Roman Eichholzer, Sr., Lieselotte Eichholzer Moore, her brother, Roman Eichholzer, Jr., and her son, Leo Broadnax, Jr.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12:00PM until 2:00PM at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph Rd.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 2:00PM at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home.
The family will have a Memorial Service at a later date.
