Mary Elizabeth (Guckian) DeGiulio passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late John DeGiulio. Caring mother of John (Letty), Michael (Andrea), Daniel, Robert, Christopher (Kathy), and Jacqueline (DeGiulio) Beuckelaere. Proud grandma of 18 and great-grandma of 12. Also survived by her brother-in-law, Angelo (Joie), many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, Patrick, Thomas, James, and Michael.

Mary was working the soda bar at Cunningham's drug store in Lincoln Park when she met the love of her life, John. They were married and raised six children together. Mary was proud of her Irish heritage and was a devout Catholic. She and John loved to host and entertain family and friends at their home. She was a member of the Dearborn Country Club and the Fairlane Club through her life. She enjoyed playing tennis and tending to her garden. She was known for her great sense of humor and could often be found around a table enjoying a coffee and cracking jokes. Above all, she was a devoted wife and matriarch and leaves behind a great legacy with her family.

Funeral Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, September 28, at 10am. She will be interred next to John at Mt. Kelly Cemetery, Dearborn.
