Gillis, Mary Jane. Age 94. January 1, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Frank J. Gillis, reunited at last in heaven. Loving mother of Moira and Sheena Gillis Ferrara. Proud grandmother of Christena and Bridget Ferrara. Preceded in death by her dear sister Kay MacDougall. Survived by her two sisters Peggy McManus and Femia MacDonald and her brother Donald MacDonald; loving nieces Linda Novasky and Janet McManus, nephews Mike and Jim McManus, grand-nieces Amanda Novasky, Elizabeth Dudek, Megan McManus and grand-nephew Hugh McManus. Born in Nova Scotia and member of Cape Breton Club. Mary Jane was a pioneer, retiring after thirty years with the railroad as supervisor of Michigan stations for Amtrak.
