HARPER, Mary Ella age 93, passed away at her Dearborn home on February 17th in the comfort of her long time, loyal friend, Doreen (Reuter) Kasonovich. Preceding her in death were here parents Bert and Ruby Harper of rural Somerset, Michigan; also sisters Roselyn (Darwin) Pickell, Dorothy (Robert) Brown and brothers Robert (Aileen) Harper and Donald Harper. She is survived by her nephews and niece: James (Marge) Pickell, Martha (Alex) Klukach, Robert (Suzanne) Brown, Edward (Norellen) Pickell and Bruce (Jane) Harper. Mary's working career started alongside her dear friend Doreen at the Willow Run Bomber Plant during WWII where they were both crane operators. Mary Ella's long life will be celebrated at the Dearborn Chapel of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave. Thursday at 2:00 pm. Visitation Thursday 12-2 pm. Interment Somerset Cemetery.
