Mary Lou Smith, 82, passed away November 18th, 2018 in Detroit, Michigan.

She joins her beloved husband of 53 beautiful years, Ronald, in eternal rest.
Proud mother of Jan (Duane) Doolittle, Jeff (Peter) Stoepel, Joseph (Zoe) Muensan-Smith, and the late Julie Smith.
Dear grandma to Brian and Eric Doolittle.
Treasured great-grandma to Dylan Neacato-Doolittle.
Cherished sister of Larry (Sue) Kellerman, and the late Joan (Ray) Huffmaster and James Kellerman.
Caring godmother to Helen Kearns and Jennifer Smith.

Mary Lou was a devout Catholic woman who took pride in serving her community. She was a member of St. Sebastian's altar society for over 50 years. She supported her community by volunteering her time at the food pantry and other special charity events. Mary always kept her family in her heart with everything she did. Those with the honor of knowing her would remember her as a sweet, loving, cheerful, patient, determined woman who made out-of-this-world pies and was charitable to a fault. She was a bright and shining star and will be missed by so many.

A funeral mass will be held Saturday, November 24th, instate 9:30AM until time of mass at 10AM, located at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 3965 Merrick St, Dearborn Heights, MI 48125. Mary will be laid to rest at Mt. Kelly Cemetery.
