Mary (Pat) Patricia Ross of Dearborn, Michigan, age 93, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.

Pat was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 7, 1928. She was active in her local church, and a devout Catholic. There was never a time that you would find Pat not doing something and you could not get her to stay in one place for too long. Every morning she would consistently go to the gym to remain active. She was also an avid golfer, and in true Pat fashion would walk the course over using a cart. Pat was a very happy, active, and a funny person.

Pat held a special place in her heart for her family cottage in Hartland, MI, and time she spent with her family. While there, she would spend many hours floating around on the pontoon and entertaining her children and grandchildren with stories and jokes. Many memories were made with Pat here, and she shared countless laughs with friends and family. She was known to make goofy faces and tell silly jokes. Her sense of humor could brighten any room, lighten any situation, and unwaveringly make anyone smile.

Sadly, Pat lost her husband Donald in 1996. After his passing, she joined a traveling group called the Nomad Solos. Through this group she was able to travel the world and make lifelong friends. These travels were something she absolutely loved. Pat has been nearly everywhere across the world. If you were to ask her what trip was her favorite, her response would be every single one. Pat would say, "If the plane should crash, let it be on the way home. At least you'll know I had fun!".

In her 93 years of life, she had a lot of fun and shared a lot of laughs. Pat will be missed by all that had the fortune to meet her and her memory will live on in all the hearts that she has touched along the way.

Pat is survived by her 4 Children Douglas Ross, Thomas (Nancy) Ross, Dona (Bruce) Dalgleish, and Stephen (Kay) Ross. She was the dear grandmother of Lindsay Ross, Jared (Evy) Ross, Kelly (Sean) VanVleet, Drew Dalgleish, Bryan (Catalina) Ross, Allison (Bryan) Mageli, Jacqueline Ross, Garrett Ross, Thomas Ross, and Stephanie Ross. She was the proud great-grandmother of 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Georgiana and Patrick Garvey her beloved husband Donald Ross, her brothers: Louie Garvey, Edward Garvey, William Garvey, and George Garvey, and grandson Colby Ross.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Foundation of America in Pat's memory.
