Mary B. Shields passed away on July 13, 2024 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Michael. Dear mother of Michael, Alan, Brian (Michelle), the late Brenda (Rodney), and the late Teresa (Alan). Proud grandmother of Colin, Nolan, Jason, Michael, and Conner. Loving sister of Francie, Annette, and Nula. She was preceded in death by siblings, Michael, Joseph, Bernie, and Teresa.

Mary was born in Dublin, Ireland where she spent her childhood. She and Michael immigrated to Canada in 1954 and then to Michigan in 1957, where they settled and raised their families. She was a devout Catholic and kept Jesus in her heart. She loved to golf in her free time and cherished time with her family and grandsons. She was selfless and always cared for others before herself. She maintained a positive and grateful outlook through her life and always had time to enjoy a cold Guinness.

Visitation at the Dearborn Location of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home on Friday, 1-3pm. Service at the funeral home at 3pm. Private interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Twp.
