Mary Katherine Stevens, age 88, passed away March 4, 2023.

Beloved mother of Robert (Kelley) Mahinske, Monica (Jeff) Grusenmeyer, Jane Mahinske, and Brian (Lisa) Mahinske.
Proud grandmother of Andrew, Caitlin (Ted), Elizabeth, Conor, Jacob, Anna, and Stacy (Lance).
Dear great-grandmother of Teddy, Aubree, Tyler, Parker, and Mason.

Mary lived an interesting and multi-faceted life. She worked part time at Greenfield Village for 20 years, first as a docent, then moving into community relations.

She loved to appreciate different types of Old English and Irish architectures. For many years, Mary and her friends would take an annual trip to Mackinac Island for a cherished get-away. In her spare time, Mary loved to cultivate a flowering garden with many plants that she was very proud of.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's honor may be forwarded to Hospice of Michigan.

Memorial gathering Wednesday, March 8 from 2:30-5PM with a memorial service at 5PM. All services are located at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph, Taylor MI 48180.
