Mary Szabo passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018, at the age of 81. Mary was the beloved mother of Nichole (Bruce) Hamilton and Michelle (Christopher) Slaviero and the proud Grandmother of Sydney Hamilton, Joseph Slaviero, and Nina Slaviero.
Mary loved camping with her family at Camp Dearborn, gardening, refinishing furniture and decorating her home, bowling, and traveling. Mary was optimistic, a loving person, and always put others at ease. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family and is also survived by her twin sister, Margaret, and nephews Mike (Jean), Frank (Lee), and Vince (Connie) Fedel. Mary worked at The Bank of Detroit and as a legal secretary for Evans and Luptak in the City of Detroit for many years.
Funeral Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 7:00pm at The Taylor Chapel of Howe Peterson, 9800 S. Telegraph. Visitation Thursday, 2:00pm to 7:00pm.
