Merriel Minton, 84, formerly of Lincoln Park, died peacefully on April 30, 2017. Preceded in death by her beloved husband James G. Minton, her parents; Offie & Lina Norfleet, sister Gladys and brother Theophilus. Survived by her daughter Theresa Minton, loving grandson Cody (Hailey) Nasarzewski and great grandson Bentley. Visitation will be held at J.L. Peters Funeral Home. 3880 Fort Street, Lincoln Park, Michigan on Wednesday from 2-8pm.
Merriel will take her last trip home on Thursday, where there will be a visitation at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main St., Russell Springs, Kentucky.
