Michael Joseph O'Connell passed away on December, 2019, at the age of 61.

Loving son of his late parents, Michael and Carolyn.

Dear brother of Rita (Bill) and the late Kathy.

Beloved companion of Julie for over 35 years.

Michael was a man with a good sense of humor and huge heart. He loved his family, friends and pets and made sure they knew it.

In his younger days, Michael had a fondness for law enforcement and criminal justice. He loved to listen to the scanner radio and even took college classes on criminal justice. Instead of pursuing a career in law enforcement, he went on to work for Ford Motor Company.

With his love of music, Michael played in a band for a bit. His other passions included gardening and bike riding through the park on nice days.

He was a man of great character with a loving personality. He will be missed by many.

In place of memorial donations or flowers, Michael would wish for you to do as he would and hug your family, friends and pets and let them know how much you care for them.
