Michael George Sant Angelo, age 85, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025. Born on September 8, 1940, he was the beloved son of Vincent and Carmela (Mifsud) Sant Angelo. Michael was a cherished brother to Mary, Stephen, Alfred, Joseph, Charles, Valerie, Theresa, and Rita.
A proud serviceman, Michael served his country as a medic in the Army. After his military service, he dedicated over 31 years to General Motors, retiring with a legacy of dedication and hard work. An avid sports fan, Michael loved watching the Detroit Red Wings and the Detroit Tigers. He enjoyed bowling, playing hockey, visiting the casino, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Michael is survived by his daughters, Michele and Jennifer; grandchildren Justin, Jaclyn, Julian, and Jake; siblings Charles, Joseph, Valerie, and Rita; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Known affectionately as "Uncle Mike," he was loved by all who knew him.
Michael will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his kind heart, his love for family, and his unwavering patriotism.
Eulogy Service Thursday 7:00 p.m. October 16th at the Dearborn Location of the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 22546 Michigan Ave. 48124. Visitation Thursday 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Interment Friday 2:00 p.m. with Army Honors at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly Michigan.
