On October 5, 2022, Michael Sullivan passed away peacefully in his home at the age of 82. He was born at home on May 12, 1940, in River Rouge to parents, John and Mary Ivy Sullivan.

Michael was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. An avid fisherman, Michael loved to spend his summers on the lake with his family, now a decades-long tradition. He had a sharp sense of humor, and his stories could make anyone laugh. His love of dogs was second only to the love of his life, Judy.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Ivy, his sister Mary Jane, his brother Jack, his son William, and beloved pets Mickey, Mickey II, Chloe, Ginger, Cleo, Frosty, and Joe.

He is survived by his wife, Judy, children Anne (Walt), Mary (Tim), Jim (Erica), Margaret (Mark), daughter-in-law Melissa (Curt), grandchildren Steven, Emily, Caelin, Stephanie, Mackenzie, Brennan, Jack, Madison, Mallory, Aidan, Sullivan, Dillon, Anne, and Erin, great-granddaughter Rosalee, and dog Maggie.
