Michelle Kay Wiegand passed away unexpectedly on March 24, 2025 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Carl for 57 wonderful years. Loving mother of Amanda Wiegand – Barc and Gregory (Brooke) Wiegand. Proud grandma of Jalaynna, Joseph, Mason, Nolan, and Christian. Dear sister of Dennis (Deirdre) Hodges. Michelle is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Michelle worked as a secretary for Dearborn Public Schools for many years, retiring from Dearborn High School. In her free time, she was an avid reader and cross-stitcher. She enjoyed working on family genealogy and had traced her family back to the Jamestown settlement. With her family, she loved to take day trips, especially to Tecumseh and Frankenmuth and she loved baseball and was a lifelong Detroit Tigers fan.

Visitation will be held at the Dearborn location of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home on Saturday, March 29th, 4-8pm and Sunday, March 30th, 4-8pm. Funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Monday, March 31st, at 11am. Entombment to follow at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West.
