Mildred Opal Hudgens Bennett, age 96, a resident of Lincoln Park for 70 years, passed away October 23, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Sheldon Oakley Bennett. She is survived by her children, Joyce Murdock, Catherine (Lawrence) Uhring, Thomas (Lys) Bennett, and George (Deborah) Bennett; her grandchildren, William (Audra) Murdock, Stacey (Samuel) Murdock Webster, Angela Uhring Cabauatan; her great-grandchildren, Justine Murdock, Duncan Murdock, Samuel Murdock, Luke Webster, Caleb Cabauatan, Haeley Kleitsch and Nicholas Kleitsch.
