Mildred Carolyn Pohl (Seyfried) passed on July 30,2024 at the age of 90.
Mildred was born on November 30, 1933 in Ann Arbor MI and Adopted by John and Elvina Seyfried at the age of 1. Mildred was also preceded in death by her Brother and Sister-in-law Richard and Norma Seyfried and her Husband Richard Pohl who passed in 2001.
Mildred is the Loving Mother of Susan(Dennis) Kusiak and Richard(Barbara) Pohl.
She is the Beloved Grandmother of Heather, Crystal, William and Austin. Great Grandmother of Ella Kara, David, Jaden, Logan and Coraline.
Mildred was a professional country music singer in her teenage years - known as Millie Marshall. She was also a talented Yodeler and Square Dance Caller.
She bought her home in Taylor MI in the early 1950s and took great pride as a Homemaker and made the best apple pie and butterscotch cookies.
Mildred loved movies. - especially action, western, fantasy and horror.
She was a Lover of horses and cats.
Most of all Mildred was a Devout Catholic and member of St Alfred Catholic Church.
Visitation will be Friday 1pm-8pm with Rosary and Eulogy at 7pm at the Howe-Peterson Funeral Home Taylor Chapel.
Services will be Saturday 10:30 In-State with Mass at 11am at St. Alfred Catholic Church with burial to follow a Our Lady of Hope Cemetery in Brownstown Twp.
