Mitchell "Mitch" Kolehmainen, age 59, passed away June 9, 2022. Beloved husband of 27 wonderful years to Joyce. Proud father of Amy (Aaron) Arnett. Dear grandfather of Madelyn and Macie. Caring dog dad to Sadie and the late Cocoa.

Mitch lived a multi-faceted life. He loved to travel up north, to lake Erie, and beyond to relax on a boat and cast out a line. In his earlier days, he enjoyed deer hunting as a pastime until he could hit the water again. He will be remembered for his loving and humorous nature and will be missed greatly.

A memorial gathering will be held Friday, June 24 from 1:00-3:00PM with a celebration of life service at 3:00PM at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 Telegraph Rd, Taylor, MI 48180.
