Nancy (Thomas) Ireland was born October 29, 1939 and passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. She is survived by her sister, Shirley (Thomas) DesJardins, and her children, Cindy (Michael) Hale, Sherry Wood, and Mark Ireland. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Thomas Ireland, and her grandson, Ryan Hale.

Nancy loved life. She loved get-togethers where she was surrounded by her loved ones. She said, "I want to be where the joy and laughter are." She loved Mexican food, camping, and music, especially Bluegrass music. You could always hear her cheering over the rest of the crowd at a Bluegrass Festival.

Nancy found a way to make even the smallest thing special. She would add an extra, personalized touch to a gift, or decorate with a little something extra to make it better. She'd just add a little "choochie" to dress something up a bit.

She was a beautiful, loving, funny, and creative soul who touched the lives of everyone with whom she came in contact. She was the life of the party. She brought a light to an otherwise dim world that will forever be darkened without her presence. She will be forever missed by all who loved her.
