Obituary

Nancy Roche, 56.  Her happy heart beat for the last time on 6-29-17.  A non-survivor of cancer, she died as she lived – within the loving embrace of her family.  Loving and beloved daughter of the late Kenneth and Deloris Roche, she will always be treasured by her remaining family, Tom Russell, Andrea Shoults, Susan and Allen Owen, Kenneth Roche, Kendra Roche, Michael Roche and Chloe.  Each one attended her in those final weeks. Despite the health challenges she was born with and those she encountered later in life, Nancy lived joyfully. She was proud to have been her own guardian throughout her life.  A devoted Tiger's fan, Nancy also enjoyed bowling, bingo, boston coolers, horseraces and dancing to the song YMCA. She was a friend to all cats. She found fulfillment and a degree of independence through her co-workers, staff and the work she did at Services to Enhance Potential. She will be remembered for her cheerfulness, resourcefulness, generosity, sense of humor, work ethic and her iron will. Born the day President Kennedy was elected, Nancy is Tuesday's child – full of grace. "If love could have saved her she never would have died."
