Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. As some of you know, earlier this year, Norbert was diagnosed with advanced-stage cholangiocarcinoma. On Friday, Sept. 26, he lost his battle with this deadly cancer, a battle he fought fearlessly, determinedly and valiantly, just as he lived his life. In a tragic twist of fate, his sister-in-law Maria Angeles Saenz was diagnosed with the same cancer last month. Whether you knew Norbert for a minute or for a lifetime, you know there are two qualities that were etched in his character: his generosity and his commitment to family. It is in this spirit that his family has chosen to set up a fund in his name for the on-coming treatment of his sister-in-law, Maria Angeles Saenz. In lieu of flowers or other tokens, we ask that, instead, you make a donation in his name. Donations can be made to: Maria Angeles Saenz at any Chase Bank, Account #3009336529. Please put "in memory of Norbert" in the memo area. Donations can also be mailed or taken in person to: Renu Recycling 12065 Telegraph Redford, MI 48239 or mailed to: Olga Wierszewski c/o Maria Angeles Saenz 24355 Fairmount Dearborn, MI 48124 Thank you for your condolences, the Wierszewski Family.
