Noreen Pearl Jenks

With deep sorrow and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our cherished Mom Noreen Pearl Jenks. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on May 23, 2026 at the age of 90.

Born in Windsor on December 3rd 1935 to Alvin and Audrey Pearl Black. Noreen married Tim, the love of her life and moved from Canada to the United States in 1955. Two years later they chose to put down roots in Dearborn Heights, where they grew their family, and a lifetime of beautiful memories blossomed.

Noreen spent her life committed to her family and made a positive impact on the youth within her community, with several of them lovingly calling her Mom Jenks. She was always the first with open arms when someone was in need, her love and compassion will be greatly missed by those who knew and love her.

Noreen has been reunited with her beloved husband Tim Jenks, late son Dail, and loving parents.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children Suzanne Whyte, Barbara (John) Nordby, and Colleen Randazzo, and her grandchildren Brittany (Jon) Walls, Randall (Maria) Davis, James Jenks and Mandy Lynn Owens; along with 6 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren, 2 nieces, several cousins, and many “adopted” children and great friends
