Patricia Ann Michalek, 75, of Constantine, Michigan passed away on May 31st, 2026. Patricia was born June 7, 1950, the daughter of Carl and Nina (Love) Heffley. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ray Michalek, two sons, Raymond Anthony (Tina) Michalek and Timothy Michalek (Kristy). Grandchildren, Sean, Brock (Brooklynn), Madeline (Jeremiah), Raeann, Ashlynn, and Grant, five siblings, Mary (David) Welch, Janet (John) Rennie, Pamela (Tim) Davidson, Carl Heffley, Jr., and Cathy Spadafore, a sister-in-law, Anna Marie (Louis) McCart, many nieces and nephews, and special friend and hospice aide, Brooke Pepin. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Carolyn Heffley, a brother, Dennis Heffley, and a sister-in-law, Tracie Heffley.
Patricia was very quiet and lived a very clean life. She was an amazing and loving mom and grandma. She was an incredibly hard worker, but her family always came first.
From her son, Timothy: My mother’s hugs were an incredible projection of warm, comfortable, love that always made me feel safe and shielded. I always felt her love fill my heart and soul. Her love will be locked in my heart and soul for eternity. Thank you always Mom.
Patricia’s family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the staff from Heartland Hospice for their love, care, and support. They always treated Patricia like family. The family would also like to thank Lydia Romzek and the staff at Hawkins Water Tech, Middlebury, for the care and love they have shown to Patricia and family during this time.
A visitation will take place at Howe-Peterson Funeral Home 9800 Telegraph Rd. Taylor, Michigan on Thursday, June 4th from 11:00am-8:00pm with a prayer service at 4:00pm. Burial will take place at St. Hedwig Cemetery on Friday, June 5th at 11:00am. The procession will begin at Howe-Peterson beginning at 9:30am.
