Patricia Ann Houston age 92 of Dearborn passed away on July 1, 2022 at Angela Hospice in Livonia.  She was born June 27, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of James & Evelyn Bell.  After graduating from Plymouth High in 1948, she worked at Burroughs Corporation as an executive secretary.   She met her husband, Richard Houston, while enjoying their love of roller skating at Riverside Roller Rink.  They were married on June 11, 1949.

Pat found most enjoyment surrounded by her family, especially on holidays and family birthday parties.  She always looked forward to traveling to Bedford, Virginia and Princeton, West Virginia to attend family reunions.  She was an excellent seamstress and continued to sew right up until the end of her life.  Pat mostly enjoyed making doll clothes and disliked making clothes for adults.  She was most proud for having made dozens upon dozens of winter hats for the homeless.

Great grandchildren Quinn Houston; Sawyer Mork; Kellan Houston; Grayson Mork; Owen Warner; Claire Mork as well as cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother James Bell III, sisters Pauline West and Peggy Cochrane and daughter-in-law Cynthia Houston.

A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Dearborn on Saturday, August 6, 2022. Gathering at the church at 10am until time of service at 10:30am.
