In Loving Memory of Patricia Tindell

Beloved Sister, Aunt, Niece, Educator, and Friend

Patricia Tindell, a cherished sister, aunt, niece, educator, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 16 at the age of 65.

Born with a heart full of kindness and a spark of mischief in her eyes, Patricia was the beloved sister of George (Vicky) Tindell and Kathleen (Alan) Tindell Dewey, and a treasured aunt to Tara Denherder, Danielle (Ryan) Eggebrecht, Luke LaPointe, Mary Ann Tindell, Kyle (Adrienne) Tindell, and Dale (Jenny) Tindell. She was also a very special niece to Marie Price and held a lasting place in the hearts of her extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Margaret Tindell; her nephew, Jimmy; and her great-niece, Danica. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.

Patricia was a dedicated educator who touched countless lives through her work in schools and in her community. Her patience, warmth, and humor made her a beloved presence in every classroom she entered. Her passion for teaching also found a lifelong home in her church, where she taught Sunday school for decades—sharing her faith and gentle wisdom with generations of children.

Known for her impish smile and gentle wit, Patricia brought light and laughter to all who knew her. Her loyal dog, Marnie, was always by her side, offering companionship and comfort that she treasured deeply. Patricia also provided devoted care to her adult cousin, Gordie, showing her quiet strength and deep compassion through every act of love.

Her closest friends, Jill and Chris, were like sisters—steadfast companions who shared in her joys and stood by her through life's challenges.

A memorial service will be held at Beacon Baptist Church in Taylor on Saturday, August 23, with a gathering at 12:00 p.m. and a service at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome to gather and celebrate Patricia's life and legacy.
