BOASE, Paula   74 Yr old  of Taylor, MI

Paula Springer Boase,  life-long Michigan resident. Born in Detroit, went to Denby High school, and graduated from Michigan State University died too soon Sunday, April 5, 2020 at the age of 74.  She lost the battle 36 days after an unexpected emergency heart surgery.

She started her work  career  as a buyer for  Hudson's .  Worked for  Heinz for a short while , and has worked at the Downriver Community Conference for the past 36 years.  Initially as Job developer who helped people find employment and then advanced to Director of E conomic Development.   She was one of the main persons behind Brown Field redevelopment in the downriver and  surrounding  communities.

Paula a loving mother and grandmother, an avid puzzle enthusiast, loved to travel, supporter of the environment and animal rights. She also enjoyed baking and making breakfast.  You are in a special group of people if you ever had her Big Pancakes (the secret recipe passed down from her mother). Survived by her children Hilary and Daniel(Sonia); her sisters, Grace (Jack) Cole and Nancy (Stan) Gawel; 4 nieces and 4 nephews, her grandchildren, Leah, Bryce, Evan and Elena, and her granddogs Moose and Ollie.  Paula will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those who knew her. In lieu of a funeral at this time, Interment as well as a memorial party will be held on a date yet to be determined.
