Preceeded in death by her parents Franklin Sr. and Mary Ziegler, her Nephew John Ziegler and her Great Nephew Peter Ziegler
She was known as "Aunt Penny" to everyone. She was a big part of a big family and through the years she was always ready for camping, adventure, games and family events.
Penny always enjoyed taking pictures and enjoying the Ziegler chaos, including how to play Hungry Hippos with the youngest in the family just this past year. It didn't matter the game, she just loved playing and enjoying the time together.
Penny served Grace Baptist Church of River Rouge for over 50 years in youth mininsties, bookkeeping, sang in the choir, was the choir director and played the piano. She loved to volunteer to help the Southgate Players with ticket sales and ushering. She spent years enjoying senior community events and only recently slowed down due to health challenges.
She loved movies, puzzles and reading and had to be the world record holder of recipe collections. Over the years the family grew and she welcomed each new family member and loved each new baby addition.
A womanly example with God and family as her passions throughout her life. We will all miss her greatly.
