Peter John Ramik Jr.'s Obituary
SSG. Peter J. Ramik USAR, 89, of Grosse Ile passed away peacefully at home September 4th, 2018.
He joins his beloved wife of 28 years, Billy Ramik, in eternal peace.
Proud father of Butch (Rosemarie) Ramik, Reggie (Sladen) Clarkston, Peter Ramik II, and the late Charlotte Ramik.
Caring grandfather of Peter III, Ashley, Robert, Christy, Courtney, and Lynette.
Treasured brother of Richard Ramik.
Peter was a man who had many interesting facets to his life. He was an avid aviator. His love of the skies ranged from building over 375 model airplanes to his 8 years as a pilot with over 200 confirmed jumps from a plane. He spent a loyal 24 years of service in the Army where he reached the rank of Staff Sergeant. Peter was a caring, kind, and attentive family man who will be missed greatly by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him.
A memorial service in Peter's honor will be planned at a later date.
