Peter Joseph Weber, 101, of Dearborn, Michigan, passed away on February 4, 2023. Pete was born on November 14, 1921 in Detroit, Michigan, the eldest of six children born to Joseph and Mary (Rager) Weber. He married his beloved Elizabeth (Farkas) Weber in 1947, and the couple had four children and were wed for 58 years until her passing in 2006. Pete was a retired painting contractor and co-owner of Joseph P. Weber Painting Company in Center Line, Michigan. He also had a passion for architecture and interior design, and even built his first house. An avid reader and crossword puzzle aficionado who loved to travel, Pete eventually took up painting canvases instead of buildings. He was a fixture in the retirement community at Allegria Village in Dearborn, Michigan for the past 13 years. Pete is survived by his four children Cynthia (Robert) Nankee, Susan Thomas, Lisa (Peter) Wojda, and Peter Weber; nine grandchildren Laura (Pierre) Nimmer, Claire (Robert) Jacobs, Peter (Lea) Wojda, Lauren (Justin) Whitney, Rebecca (Michael) Volovar, Kevin Nankee, Kristin Thomas, Sara Wojda, and Brandon Weber; and three great-grandchildren Robert Jacobs, Peter Wojda, and Austin Whitney. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his siblings Elizabeth Grattan, William Weber, Joseph Weber, James Weber, and Robert Weber.
