Ramiro "Ray" Lopez, 76, of Lincoln Park entered into eternal peace on Friday, June 10, 2016. After a tough battle with cancer, he is reunited with his beloved wife, Dolores. Ramiro was born in Texas on September 27, 1939, son of Felix Lopez Sr. and Eldemira (Villanueva). He married his beloved wife in September, 1963. Ramiro was a very kind and gentle soul; he had a loving and generous heart and was always giving to others. He was very proud of his sons and daughter as well as his grandchildren, nephews and nieces. He often spoke of his uncles, aunts and family in Texas. Ramiro loved to tell stories of his past to his loved ones. He enjoyed hunting with his sons, brothers and nephews. He enjoyed baseball and as a young man loved playing the game with his family and friends. He always looked forward to watching the Tiger's game and western movies from the comfort of his home. He loved to spend time at his cottage and to barbeque for all of his family. He enjoyed being outside and tending to his garden growing the biggest tomatoes and delicious peppers for his homemade salsa. He was a hard worker and was proud to retire from Ford Motor Company after more than 30 years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dolores, and 3 brothers: Guadalupe (dcd: Eva), Ruben (Irma) and Manuel (dcd: Karen). He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his sons, daughter, son-in-law and daughter-in-law: Larry, Ray (Natalie), Monica Green (John), and John; grandchildren: Nathan and John Henry "Johnny"; loving companion: Teresa; siblings: Felix II, (Esther), Leonel, Oralia Williams (Mike), Oscar (Karen), San Juanita Bechtol (John), and Raymundo. Ramiro's kind soul and loving spirit toward so many will never be forgotten.
