GLANERT, Raymond H. August 16, 2011, age 80 Beloved husband of the late Donna of 59 years. Dear father of Gary (Reiko), Dennis (Elaine) and Diane (Jeff) Mearns. Loving grandfather of Dennis, Renee, Shannon Nevling (Carol), Brandon Nevling (Alexis), Ryan Nevling (Christy), Sierra Mearns and Katelyn Mearns. Also survived by 9 great grandchildren. Loving brother of Dorothy Pulsipher (Charles) and the late Ruth Bottorf (the late Cecil). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ray was known for his great love of God, family and friends. He loved his church. Dearborn Free Methodist church was a part of his life since 1968 and he served it well. He was a longtime member of the Christian Motorcycle Assoc, Foster Parent for 13 years to approximately 40 babies. Ray was a retired carpenter and a lifetime member of the carpenter's union. Ray always said he was so blessed - however it was us who were blessed by his life. I'm sure he is hearing "well done good and faithful servant" for as a believer in Christ our Savior to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
