Raymond Smith, age 79, of Taylor, MI passed away July 6, 2022.

Beloved husband of Martha Smith for 43 wonderful years.
Proud father of Sherri (Ronald) Dauod, Michelle (Wade) Williams, Samuel Smith, and Joseph Smith.
Caring grandfather of Sydney, Jack, Caleb, Nickolas, and Connor.
Dear brother of Shirley, Darlene, Robin, and the late Lucy, Ranger, and Betty.
Loved by many nieces and nephews.

Raymond lived a multifaceted life. He served honorably in the Army for his country and went on to work for General Motors as a team leader for 36 dedicated years. During his retirement, he found himself itching to take on another job and started his career with Airlines Parking for another 9 years.

Raymond enjoyed listening to country music and traveling to all kinds of destinations, one of his favorites being the Smokey Mountains. If Ray wasn't at home taking care of his family and tinkering, he was probably at Home Depot getting more materials for projects he was working on. He will be greatly missed by his big family and so many friends.

Instate Tuesday, July 12 from 11AM until time of funeral service at 12PM. All services located at Heritage Park Church of God, 12550 Pardee Rd, Taylor, MI 48180. Interment at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery to follow.
