Raymond B. Szynal passed away on May 10, 2023 at the age of 93.

Son of the late Agnes and Andrew Szynal. Adoring husband of the late Anne. Loving father of Raymond, Kenneth, Annemarie (Daniel) Brinkman, Thomas (Hsin-yi), and Carolyn (Steven) Nolff. Proud grandfather of 4. Survived by his sister Catherine (Kenneth) Russell. Pre-deceased by his sister Louise (Leonard) Plachta.

Ray proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Following his service, he worked as an engineer for Dearborn Public Schools for 36 years. He cared for his yard meticulously, carefully keeping his lawn manicured and his rose bushes full.

Visitation at the Dearborn location of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home on Sunday, May 14, 3-8pm. Service on Monday, May 15, at the funeral home at 12pm

Interment with Army honors at St. Hedwig Cemetery.
