In loving memory, Renee Ann Leclaire Westland, MI Passed away on Sunday September 30, 2012 at her home with her loving husband at her side, after a very long battle with cancer. She was born in Pinconning on June 5, 1965 to the late Harold & Irene (Ehlers) La Pan. Renee spent the last two decades living in Westland with her husband David Leclaire who survives her. Renee and David were married on June 15, 1991. Renee was a loving wife, sister, and friend, and will be sorely missed by those that loved her. She will always be known by family and friends for her kindness, caring heart, independence, and strength. In 1988, she graduated from Central Michigan University. Since then, Renee was the store manager for several businesses. The past five years, Renee served as office manager for Dr. Karl Tarkanyi at KET Chiropractic Center, along with managing her start-up billing company, Accu-Bill. Renee was an avid Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, University of Michigan, and Central Michigan University fan. She is survived by her two brothers, Donald & Debbra La Pan of Novi, and Daniel & Mary La Pan of Saginaw, and Stepfather James Purtell of Sanford. Renee is also survived by her Mother and Father-in-Law, David & Frances Leclaire of Taylor, Sisters & Brother-in-Law, Genevieve (Leclaire), & Brian Evans of Taylor, and Michael & Tamra Leclaire of Lincoln Park, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
