Ricardo Castao Jr., 59, died Friday, August 14, 2015 at Beaumont (Oakwood) Hospital in Dearborn due to complications related to diabetes. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Tamara (Martin),son Ricardo IV, sister Carol, brothers Michael and Jim, beloved in-laws and a loving family of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Born and raised in Detroit, the son of Anna and the late Ricardo Sr., he was a lifelong resident of metro Detroit. A graduate of Chadsey High School where he studied drama and journalism. He found his calling as a computer programmer with Comerica Bank, earning various awards, accolades, and recognition for his work. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Howe-Peterson Funeral home in Taylor. Visitation will be on Monday, the 17th from 2-8 p.m., with the funeral service Tuesday, the 18th at 11 a.m., followed by a procession to Cadillac Memorial Gardens West.
