Richard E. Armstrong passed away on April 20, 2023 at the age of 83.

Beloved husband of the late Elaine.

Loving dad of Scott (the late Janet) and Kristin.

Proud papa of Jonathan.

Dear brother of the late Robert.

He also leaves behind many loving family members and friends.

Richard was a hard-working man and an excellent husband and father that put his family above all.

He spent the years from 1963 to 1969 in the Air National Guard. From there he devoted 39 years to Chrysler and loved to travel with Elaine after his retirement. The two of them enjoyed going on cruises and camping.

Richard was a devoted and loyal Detroit sports fan. He always made sure to be home before the Tigers, Lions or Red Wings game started.

Though he will be dearly missed, his memory will bring comfort and smiles to those who loved him. May he rest in peace.
